Most yoga classes occur in a room crowded with different bodies, different goals, and different experience levels.
Not mine.
My private yoga lessons in Alabama are completely tailored to you. I begin by learning everything about your sport, your workout schedule, your health history, and what you want to achieve with yoga. Then, I create a custom plan to help you feel, move, and perform at your peak. From there, we course-correct as needed — all from the comfort of your own home.
You give 100% on the field, court, or wherever your body takes you. It’s time for a training plan that gives you 100%, too.
Who wants to improve your game — and stay in the lineup.
And want to heal your whole body, not just one part.
And like the idea of starting off on the right foot (literally).
*No shade to physical therapy! Yoga works best alongside medical care, not instead of it. I always encourage you to follow your doctor’s advice.
You’re more likely to hit your goals with a plan pointed straight at them. Whether you’re striving to perform better in your sport, recover completely from surgery, or just feel better in your body, private yoga helps you reach the results you want, quicker than you thought possible.
Clients often tell me they see better results from our private yoga lessons than physical therapy alone.* That’s because PT focuses on the injury itself, but I focus on your entire body. We build mobility for each muscle, so you feel balanced and strong.
No need to haul yourself to a studio or rearrange your schedule to fit someone else’s. I’ll come to your home (or we can meet online or at a third-party location) whenever it works for you. Private lessons provide more flexibility, accountability, and a safer environment for injury prevention.
Every session is structured around your long-term goals and your real-time needs. We don’t follow a generic protocol or rigid plan. I can pivot on the spot if your workout has changed, your knee is flaring up, or you woke up exhausted. Whatever you need that day, we’ll work on it.
Pricing varies based on event size, location, and setup requirements. Reach out to discuss a custom quote for your event.

“It surprised me that yoga is like a real workout. Before lessons I felt stiff and drowsy. With yoga I gained clarity and more flexibility. You make sure I’m doing the stretch right. I would recommend Alex to better improve your mental clarity and muscle soreness. This was a great experience.”

“Prior to my knee replacement, I decided that a private yoga class would be beneficial. I am so glad I made that choice! Alex pays attention to what my body is telling her — and then continues to amaze me with the sequences she puts together for me!”

“I just wanted to say thank you for helping me and being patient with me. It's been an invaluable experience. I don't feel like I have to rely on medication to be able to help my brain because of all that you've taught me regarding meditation.”
Nanette
“Alex, I would just like to thank you for being someone I look forward to seeing once a week. I feel comfortable with you in my home. The yoga instruction is well paced. I enjoy learning from you. And I always feel better when our lessons are done.”
Fill out my contact form to tell me all about your yoga dreams. We’ll discuss a potential plan to fit your body and schedule. Once you’ve paid for your first session and completed your intake questionnaire, your yoga plan has officially begun.
At your baseline session, I walk you through a set of 10 poses to evaluate your true range of motion, identify tight muscles, and determine the safest and most effective poses for your unique body. You may get some light “homework” to practice after.
Using the insights from your baseline session, I craft a fully personalized yoga regimen that fits your life and training schedule. In each session, I continue to check your form and refine your routine to ensure you’re progressing toward your goals.
A yoga mat is essential for every yoga session. Water and a towel are usually a good idea. I’ll let you know if other equipment (such as blocks or bolsters) are needed. If you’re attending a sound bath, bring everything that will make you comfortable, such as an eye mask, pillow, bolster, blanket, and/or your favorite sweatshirt.
I come to you! Sessions are typically held at your home or another mutually agreed-upon location. Virtual lessons are also available at the same rate. If you'd prefer to meet at a third-party space, any room rental fees would be your responsibility.
It is a restorative class where you are invited to participate lying on your mat. Bring all the comfy things with you. While you lie there, I will play an assortment of crystal singing bowls and chimes to help you relax and, sometimes, fall asleep. Think of this class as the ultimate nap or extended savasana.
Typically, both yoga and sound bath classes last 1 hour each. We’ll determine the best duration for your needs ahead of booking.
Weekly lessons tend to work best for built-in accountability. Every other week works well if you're self-motivated to practice between lessons. To see the greatest results, I typically recommend 5–15 minutes of at-home practice, 2–3 days a week.
There’s no set timeline — we go at the pace that makes sense for your body and your goals. Most clients work with me for 4–6 months. Some see meaningful progress in as few as 3–4 sessions. You can purchase 5- or 10-class passes for a discounted rate per lesson (valid for one year from purchase date).
All sessions are prepaid via Venmo or Stripe. Your spot on the schedule is confirmed once payment is received.
Sessions require a minimum of 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations made within 48 hours (and no-shows) are non-refundable. Sessions canceled prior to 48 hours may receive a refund or class credit.
Yoga can be an excellent way to care for your body during seasons when a gentle approach is required. If you are injured or pregnant, please consult with your doctor before booking a yoga lesson. If you choose to proceed, please let me know, so I can list modifications before your session and be conscious throughout. Always listen to your body and stop whenever you need to.
For sure. While my background and focus is yoga for athletes, I regularly work with people recovering from surgery, managing chronic pain, or just looking to improve their mobility and quality of life. If yoga can help you, I'm here for it.
No problem! Most of my clients have little to no yoga experience. That's actually one of the best things about private lessons: they can be structured for any skill level. We’ll start exactly where you are, at whatever pace works for you.
